This ski resort is well-known and loved by Sapporo locals since the beginning of its operation in 1960. There are a total of 10 courses reserved for skiing* for everyone from beginners to advanced skiers. When it snows in the city, you can enjoy the best powder snow. You can also enjoy night skiing, with a rare cityscape night view of Sapporo, a city home to 2 million people.

Known as the mountain of local residents and the symbol of the city, Mt. Moiwa Ski Lodge is situated south of Sapporo, about 30 minutes from Sapporo Station by car. It’s only about 15 minutes from the metro Makomanai Station by bus, and 20 minutes by taxi from the hotels on the main road! The resort is split into the North Slope in front and the South Slope on the opposite side, with a total of 10 trails accessed by 5 lifts. This resort is designed for visitors of all levels including the Family and Friendly slopes for beginners, the Crystal Course and Panorama Course on the South Slope for intermediate riders and skiers, and the bump slope with up to a 35-degree grade, and Usagidaira for advanced skiers.
