Only under an hour from New Chitose Airport, 40 minutes from the Sapporo city center, and less than 10 minutes from the Teine Interchange! In addition to powder skiing and snowboarding, the “Terrain Park”, with jibbing and ramps, and the “Kids Park”, where you can enjoy sledding and tubing, are also popular.

The ultimate powder snow
This area enjoys over three to four meters of snow during an average year, and the cold air blowing in from the Sea of Japan creates light, silky smooth snow that stays dry and powdery even when squeezed in your hand. Come enjoy safe, fun skiing and snowboarding here!
Several dozen centimeters of snow during a single night is common here, with many skiers and snowboarders coming to experience the fresh powder first thing in the morning.
With long operating hours from late November to Golden Week in May most years, Teine is known for its plentiful snow.
New Olympia Ski Center
At Sapporo Teine Ski Resort, the upper area of Mt. Teine is called the Highland Zone and the middle area is called the Olympia Zone, each with their own ski center (Highland Ski Center and Olympia Ski Center. The Olympia Ski Center is a new facility that opened during the 2019 season, and is home to spacious indoor areas where visitors can kick back and relax.
