The ultimate powder snow
This area enjoys over three to four meters of snow during an average year, and the cold air blowing in from the Sea of Japan creates light, silky smooth snow that stays dry and powdery even when squeezed in your hand. Come enjoy safe, fun skiing and snowboarding here!

Several dozen centimeters of snow during a single night is common here, with many skiers and snowboarders coming to experience the fresh powder first thing in the morning.
